Diff Node - Select which Fields to Assess Differences

Diff node has as new option which allows you to pick which fields to use in the transformation saving you valuable time by streamlining navigation.

What is the Diff Node?

The Diff node allows you to check the differences between two versions of a source.

How Do You Use the Diff Node?

Use any of the Transform buttons to open the list of nodes and type Diff. Then you can start selecting Fields.

Selecting Fields

Use the Fields to Diff section of the node. First pick an option from the left dropdown.

Select from the following options:

• all: This will compare every available field when testing for difference between the data.
• ‍include: This will enable the field selector dropdown. Only values in the selected fields will be used when differencing.
• ‍exclude: This will enable the field selector dropdown. The values in the selected fields will be excluded when differencing.

Note that the field selector drop down ( on the right)  will  be disabled  when selecting all.
