Date Extract lets you isolate data from a date.

How Do I Add The Date Extract?

Add Date Extract to any node in your Dataflow. Select any node and use the Transform (+) button to open the list of options to select Join. You could work with the node in the Dataflow tab or use the Properties panel.

Date Extract Options

Select a column
Select date extraction option
Select output data type

1. Select a column.

Use the first dropdown on the left to select a column in your data.

Note: The dropdown pre-filters your data to show on columns with Dates data.

2. Select date extraction option.

Use the middle dropdown to select how you would like to parse your dates.

3. Select output data type.

Use the right side dropdown to select how to display your extracted data. You may choose from the number or the string (text) data type.
